Welcome to your County Clare travel guide.
A site created by people who came to Clare, fell in love with it and stayed.
Think of us as your eyes on the ground and we will show you how to plan your trip to get the max both in value and sheer enjoyment.
If you have a contribution to make we would love to hear from you. Your suggestions and queries are always welcome too so don't be shy about sending them in to us.
Here we will try to provide the answers to your questions and point you in the right direction when you come visit the west of Ireland and maybe you will want to stay too. Maps and resources to aid your trip planning are spread throughout to make it as easy as possible for you when you get here, after all you don't want to spend valuable vacation time trying to figure out what to do next.
Clare is a big place, maybe not in size but in history, and heritage and we are happy to be able to provide you with an insider's view as seen from the eyes of an outsider if you know what I mean.
Because we are not locals we can see through to the bigger picture and recommend places and things to do in an impartial way, because if we enjoy them then we think you will too.
