Set among the sand dunes of Lahinch beach these twin courses (Old and Castle) have been played by some of the biggest names in golf including Phil Mickelson, Darren Clarke and Stewart Cink to name a few.

Indeed Mickelson rates this one among his all-time favourite links courses, while Cink is quoted as saying " the first 10 holes at Lahinch Golf Course are some of the coolest links holes I've ever played" this just a week before he triumphed in the 2009 Open Championship.

The clubhouse is situated in the seaside town just 50 meters on the Liscannor, Cliffs of Moher road with the Castle course being on the inland side and if you can manage to get a game there you will marvel at the intricacies of this truly great golfing jewel.
